About Me:

​

To understand me you have to understand my background. I grew up in a small, quintessential New England town (hence the Robert Frost quote). I was a happy kid with a wildly creative best friend who taught me the power of imagination.

​

I suppose it all started there. At a young age I began consuming media rapidly and never stopped. I met good friends who used television and movies as counterpoints to mundane life. We all thrived on the promise of escapism.

​

Luckily, my other great passion has always pulled me back to reality. I have always been fascinated by nature and wildlife. I went to school for film and media studies with the goal of conservation in mind. I could have studied something like biology or forestry but my love of storytelling pulled me away from the sciences.

​

I've always felt that people care most about what leaves a permanent impression on them. Movies and documentaries have shaped who I am and how I think. I believe with today's technology stunning visuals and a good narrative can have a permanent effect on how people view nature. I intend to use my education for the betterment of the natural world.
